Arkhip Kuindzhi. Лес у воды. Image source: WikiArt. Source rights label: Public domain. https://www.wikiart.org/en/arkhip-kuindzhi/forest-near-the-water-1872. Collected under the user's explicit WikiArt source approval of 6 October 2026; this approval is separate from the source's rights assertion. Full-frame proportional resize and JPEG compression. WikiArt records 1872; the existing catalogue retains 1873. Exact source object and creator IDs match; both recorded intervals are within the pre-1971 scope. No catalogue dates were rewritten. Exact graphite drawing Р-6034: two tall thin pines, fallen diagonal tree, dark hatched forest, rounded foreground rocks, projecting log and shore reeds agree in individual pencil marks. The source omits outer sheet margins and native top-left/lower-right annotations and stamp; qualify the drawing view. Keep source 1872 and native/catalogue 1873 separately. The native descriptive period also contains the literal text 1973 for a related painting; that contextual assertion is preserved without treating it as this drawing’s creation year. The supplied image omits outer sheet margins, the top-left number and lower-right stamp/annotation. Source oil/canvas metadata conflicts with the museum’s graphite-on-paper description; exact individual pencil marks establish this drawing. The complete supplied source image is retained with no additional crop or recolouring.
